"The Cage"

It's the very first episode for both our podcast and the entire Star Trek franchise! Everything great has humble beginnings, and in Star Trek's case, it all starts with one man's dream about making a "space western." In our case, it starts with two blokes watching an episode of Star Trek, grabbing a mic, and praying for God to bless them with a good podcast.

This is also the beginning of our 100 episode list that we're calling Venturing Through The Universe, where we're looking at how the Star Trek franchise has grown and changed over its history. In this first batch of episodes, we're going to be checking out Classic Trek. This will be a thirteen episode selection focusing on Star Trek: The Original Series (1966-69), with peeks at both Star Trek: The Animated Series (1974) and the original Star Trek film series beginning in 1979.

Covering the good, the bad, and the ugly, we'll get a look at just about everything Star Trek has to offer (except for TNG and Picard). So grab your headphones, cue up an episode, and get lost in a silly little Star Trek story with us. Make it so!
