"Kids These Days"

Back in my day, we didn't listen to podcasts or watch YouTubes. We went outside, touched grass, and yelled at clouds. Nowadays, all young people want to do is watch MTV and do the jitterbug--pure brain rot, I tell ya. Even Warp 5 isn't fast enough anymore, no, only Warp 9.99999 will do. Oh well... nothing left to do now but grab a piece of avocado toast, prepare for imminent societal collapse, and watch this premiere episode of Star Trek: Starfleet Academy.

This is the beginning of part one of Phase II of our podcast, Spinning Off Into The Unknown, in which we're examining the wider franchise beyond the world of Star Trek: The Next Generation. In this batch of episodes, we're going to be taking a look at The Other Star Trek Shows and introducing them to someone who has only seen TNG.
