"Caretaker"

Ah, Voyager... or as we like to call it in the business, the podcast killer. How many Trek-centered shows have thrived covering The Next Generation or Deep Space Nine, only to whither and die when Voyager comes along? But will that happen for our intrepid show? Or will this silly little series be a surprisingly good caretaker for our podcast? The only way to find out is to travel with us 75,000 light years into the Delta Quadrant and watch this premiere episode of Star Trek: Voyager.

This is the beginning of part six of our 100 episode list, Venturing Through The Universe, in which we're examining how the Star Trek franchise has grown and changed over its history. In this batch of episodes, we're going to be looking at Voyager--the series that was positioned to be the flag bearer of Golden Age Trek after TNG. This will be a seventeen episode selection comprised of episodes from the first, second, and third seasons of Star Trek: Voyager (1995-96).
